27 July 2026 – Italian equipment manufacturer SACMI has introduced new artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities for its Computer Vision Systems (CVS), expanding the use of AI in quality inspection for rigid packaging production.

The new capabilities are designed to enhance automated visual inspection by improving defect recognition and supporting greater flexibility across production environments. According to the company, AI complements its existing inspection technologies, helping manufacturers maintain consistent quality while improving production efficiency.
