Sumitomo Chemical to Relocate Its Tokyo Head Office

Sumitomo Chemical has decided to relocate its Tokyo Head Office in the latter half of 2021.

The new premises will be located within an office building connected directly to Nihombashi Station, a subway station served by three subway lines, including the Toei Asakusa Line which provides direct access to both the Haneda and Narita airports without any transfers. The relocation will enhance the convenience of Sumitomo Chemical’s customers and business partners who will visit with the Head Office as well as to help the Company conduct day-to-day activities for global business development more efficiently. In addition, Sumitomo Chemical seizes the relocation as an opportunity for the Company to re-double efforts on improving its productivity further, through a variety of initiatives such as developing a more functional office environment, securing an inspiring office space suited to accelerate innovation, and promoting individuals’ efforts to attain sound work-life balance.
